I think your ebony isn't ebony enough and your ivory isn't ivory enough -- the shot is kind of dull and really needs some color life put into it. Just bolder colors from lighting would be great.
The whole image seems a bit soft. I like the juxtaposition of the rice and the mushrooms, but I think the composition could be stronger without the stem of the mushtoom on the left.
Fine, fine image. Enjoy looking at it. Those grains of rice in the foreground draws my eye in and then it gets captured by the lovely orange shapes in the mushroom. Wonder about the dark on the left above the rice.
Good framing, but the focus id too soft, probably cos its taken indoors in low light using a large aperture. Use a longer exposure, or use a lamp with a daylight simulation bulb.
