I like the contrasts from foreground to background. The emotion of the statue is picked up very well in the photo. I keep wondering what is written on the wall in the background, though, and if that has something to do with the displayed emotion of the statue.

I feel the emotion when I look at this photo. Nice use of lighting and shadows. Good frame placement. Overall, a good shot!
