This composition doesn't do much for me. It's a bit messy. The image itself has good lighting, but it is out of focus and pixelated (might be lower end camera) or just sloppy focusing... Colour is fine.
This image seems a bot out of focus and the tools aren't lit very creatively. This just looks like a snapshot to me. I do like the fact that you included the oil spots in the photo.
