 I did a shot similar to this about 15 years ago. Just like then, I couldn’t quite get the detail I wanted on the egg while maintaining the exposure of the clamp. I might have to merge two shots together to get what I want. The rules don’t allow it here so...

This tool is overqualified for the job! I know it's tough to do with your fingers but a G-clamp is a bit heavy handed.

Well lit, nicely composed with good detail. I would have preferred the egg to have been full/soft though - just for fun! This will probably score well.

Great shot, nice tectures and lighting. Score: 7, to score higher I'd have to understand only by looking at the photo why someone would be cracking an egg in a vice! Have I missed a subtext?!
