Such a dreamy, mystical feel. I can almost hear the clatter of horse hoofs and rattle of armour about to appear into the shot. The illusion would be stronger without the flagpole (or at least the flag, if you felt the whole thing might be too major an element?). Very nice shot :)

Very nice. Subject matter has high interest and it qualifies as desolate. It looks a bit overly smooth in the shadow area to me.

The soft focus of this lends itself to moment. The shadows to the left are a bit dark for me. Great job, really looks desolate to me! 8
