Shot in RAW, converted and postprocessed in PS CS2:
Hue/Saturation, levels, red photo filter for the flower, USM, NeatImage and save for web.
Wanted to depict overwhelming solitariness. The flower ... hmm ... wanted to add some element to the picture and thought that a small, dying flower would be a good candidate. I think it helps delivering the message since it gives a feeling of contrast; kind of amplifies the monotonic feeling of the Solitary Man. That's how I see it anyway :)

I think the high contrast really adds to this. How it hides the persons face in shadow. the selective desat on the tiny pink/red fower is also a nice touch.
