A wonderful shot, a great mental image of the heritage of the plane. I'd like to see it in a less sterile environment, perhaps with something that would indicate the on-going usefulness of the tool. (Perhaps wood shavings??? Whatever spoke to you as an artist).
Good shot. Nice colour. It's interesting that your tool doesn't cast any shadow. It looks like it is floating in space - how did you achieve that? Maybe showing some surface that it sits on would have added to the composition, but I think you might have tried to simplify right? Well done. 8
the lighting, combined with the stark background, really takes away from the tool. would be nice to see it in another bg. playing with contrast/levels might help a little with the glariness(sp).
