Neat-o! It looks like it would crack if I touched it. Very dry. I might have put it on and against a white background, and back-lit it to brighten the picture a bit, yet leave the leaf looking old and dry.
Very nice - soft and subtle, yet obvious for the challenge. This is a very great picture. Perhaps just a tad too dark (could be the screen). 8 from me!! Ruthann
Like the display of texture. Background color and general setting seems out of place. Good use of DOF technique and nice shadows on the leaf itself. Doesn't hold my interest.
For some reason I like this. I think the contrast could have been bumped up a little more but that's coming from someone who often adds too much contrast to her own photos. Just a preference for me. This is very interesting though...I'd also like to see a bit more light..it seems kind of dark. 7
