These chisels belong to Tsimshian (a Native Indian tribe from Southeast Alaska and northern British Columbia) master carver David Boxley, who recently completed a beautiful 25 foot long totem pole at my place of work. It will be raised in the fall of 2004.
Taken with a Sunpak 383 flash bounced straight up and off the ceiling.
