I love the totally abstract background you've been able to create here. Nice vibrant colours and the white does a great job of emphasising the different colours. Good luck with it.
The red effect does add some artistic merit, totems (i find ) are hard shots, you did well to focus on just a segment. It does look perhaps like a photoshop layer though?? Or maybe IR?
the bright red behind the totem pole is very striking, but it's clashy and distracting. would be better to try this shot against a more neutral background, or even in black and white or duotone.
Great composition. The way you have the colors makes it look very cartoonish. Love it. Colors are very vivid and makes the totem stand out a lot. Beautiful.
