This laser etched , granite memorial is quite unique. An arc of flags representing the various branches of the U.S. military borders a 30-foot black granite obelisk, a four-sided, skyward-pointing form that dates to ancient times. On each of its four sides there are pictures from past military events engraved with laser technology. It was erected to honor all California veterns that have given the supreme sacrifice.

My heart goes out to all the military and this is a very powerful image that shows all the branches. I serve now and this is emotional to me but I salute them and I salute you for a great shot.
I am trying to comment on all the shots this challenge, not sure on this one, I find the dark line distracting a bit, tones are ok. Like to see a cropped version without the dark lines.
Oh my gosh...I am gasping...this grabbed me!! Wonderful execution of style and the emotion that this photo brings to the viewer is astonishing..thats what photography is all about...making the viewer feel the photo not just view it...great job....I think this is a winner...its got my vote anyway!!
