Excellent shot. The fluffy white clouds and plants really do say peace and quiet to me.

Greetings from the Critique Club Judi!
Well, I really don't know what I'm supposed to say here. Your top ten finish really says a lot :D
The composition is great. The wide depth of field is what this shot needed and you pulled it off nicely. The blurred foreground tree is a bit distracting. The ones off to the right really don't come into play for me so their blur doesn't really bother here.
What would've made it score higher? Probably if more parents voted lol. Until a couple of weeks ago I couldn't have understood it the way I do now. It doesn't seem like too much of an indulgence to the average person but I think parents understand it perfectly!
Overall a wonderful image!
Thanks for the opportunity to critique this shot Judi.
Cheers - Phil

The cropped tree at the bottom bothers the composition a bit. Would be stronger if you panned a bit lower. Still, IR shots are always nice.

I love this photo for its beauty and serenity. Whether it depicts 'indulgence' or rather an 'escapism' is another story...

I like the photo. It doesn't scream indulgence, but it's well done, nice colors--I love the infrared.

Great capture. I would try a slight zoom-in to add some "weight" to the indulging subject.

Brilliant - this is very relaxing and feels like a Sunday. I like how the clouds mirror the trees and the deep blue is just the right touch. 9

I am such a sucker for these IR photos. I know that some people think they get old, but not IMHO. I like the clouds, but wish there was just a tad but more blue sky.

nice infrared! This is a great shot, but it feels like the title is needed to really see what the indulgence is about!

Great picture! Love the selective desaturation... unfortunately, this relies too much on the title to be relevant to the challenge.
