I definitely don't like this picture myself. But putting this picture here gaves me a couple of comments with very good tips and ideas how to do this better, which i hadn't before!
I have a few improvements in mind which will make this photo much better.

Maybe shot from lower down, almost at the waters surface would have given the image more impact. It would then have a more definite foreground and grater apparent perspective.
