I was walking along a small lake trying to take some pictures of ducks when I came upon this nest with a female Red Wing Blackbird feeding her chicks. Unfortunately I couldn\\\'t get a shot of the chicks as mom covered them when she saw me.
Photo was cropped, sharpened, and the saturation, levels and color balance were adjusted slightly with photoshop.

aww.. lovely pic..though I'm not sure about the background.. I don't know if the blue emphasizes the pic or takes your eyes away.. I think a darker background would have been better..anyway I stil think the subject matter is lovely
How beautiful, I wish it was a bit clearer and if you cropped the blue on the left out I htink it would stand out better since it is difficult anyway. How clever to find this;-)
