Challenge: Empty Room (Advanced Editing IV)
Camera: Kodak DX7590
Location: Old abandoned house, Lansing, MI
Date: May 31, 2006
Aperture: f3.2
ISO: 80
Shutter: 1/20

Date Uploaded: Jun 4, 2006

I'd shot at this old abandoned house before. I thought it was really cool. This challenge gave me a good reason to go back and shoot with my new camera. Hope voters don't ding me cause of the debris, not being totally empty, but, it says empty to me, and this old ratty chair sits there alone. I like it, and I've got a few other cool shots from this session.

In ps-crop,levels, curves for midtone contrast, curves for color adj, selective color, hue/sat, another light levels adj, 's' curve with opacity dropped, smart sharpen, resize, sfw

Thanks for checking out my pic :-)

Interesting colors, I would include more of the floor in the picture though.

I like the colors and lighting, but too messy for me for an empty room ...

Cool colors. It's hard to feel the emptiness of the room because such a small part of it is shown.

I'd like to have seen more of the room, by you backing up about 10 feet or so. I do like the title and the idea.
