A distinct improvement! I think you got a little robbed here; I believe this should be flirting with top 10, at least. It's quite exquisite. Note your vote distribution, btw: only 32 votes of 5-or-less, no 1, 2, 04 3 votes. That's hard to do :-)
Didnt look up the original and I dont normally go crzy over flower shots, but this one works very well. I love the sharpness in the center and the progressive softness on the way out. Crop is perfect and the color tones are excellent. Bumping up.
Your original is very nice, but I like the softness of this one better. The DOF pulls the eyes straight to the middle of the flower. Lighting is improved.
I love flowers, and this is a beautiful one. The black background and the soft color of the flower really make it an enjoyable image. I also like the shallow dof that draws you to the center of the flower.
Really nice detail in the center of the flower/photo. Not sure if you chose the color for the flower in PP, but it works really well with the black background, nice job!
