This picture comes with a funny story or at least in my opinion it's funny. I had taken a drive down to the lake where I often feed the ducks and geese. It was getting close to sunset when I notice this fellow coming up beside me. He stood there and look at the sunset along with me. I would look at him and he would look at me. When I turned to look at the sunset he would do the same. I had my camera so held it sideways as I was watching the sunset and in Av mode took this picture only about 8 feet away with the full 300mm zoom. When I took the picture I looked at him and he looked at me.
I was surprised to see how well the shot (not looking through the view finder) came out. And I believe it is one of the best DOF pictures I have taken.
