A bit washed out for me, with poor focus on the flower itself. Does have an almost dreamy look to it though, whether that was intended or not.

No detail in flower (overexposed), too heavily weighted to the left side, doesn't say success.

Does not seem to meet the challenge. Also, contrast is a bit high - the flower is very overexposed, making it difficult to make out any details.

There is a bit of humor that screams out to me from this photo. Do you suppose the Iris would increase its starring role simply by checking the camera's iris for DOF & contrast? It might help significantly to simply burn in the background, and dodge the iris only half as much.
