well the perspective is nice but the sky is boring and custer seems out of focus

This one fits nicely into the challenge, but it looks like its tilted to the right 5 or 6 degrees. With the harsh lighting, you also lost some of the detail in the dark face of the statue.

I think one would have to know American history to realize that this was about failure. As it is I don't know anything about Custer. As for the photo, composition is fine, sunlight seems too harsh.
