 Just a couple of springs and a propane torch.
Selective desat on the yellow clip holding the springs.
A little dodging, a little burning, a little hue\saturation on the yellow and red channels.
Slight curves adjustment.
Sharpen.

I like this a lot more second time around than first (second pass I like to spend a little more time)Considering the springs were probably glowing white anyway I think you have done a great job with the exposure and the composition is (for me) spot on. A very clean and simple looking image that was probably a dog to execute (bumping up 1)
