ok, I give up! Am thinking some sort of grill over an element? The colours certainly depict warmth/heat and whatever it is (probably something simple?) this is a very good abstract. The repetition of the strong diagonals and colour makes this a great pic that I can picture on somebodies wall as a large print. as a nit picking thought I think I'd have preferred the border to be solid black so the darker areas of the image bled into the bg? A good luck +1 bump.
