Hmmm, this is an interesting one. The shadow color is a trip. The use of a tripod would have been handy here for natural light. I love the cold crisp taste of natural light.
Nice presentation of a lenscap. One of my favourite photos of this challenge, but I'm afraid that others won't like the technical imperfections, such as overexposure and therefore lost detail in your whites. If it was any better, it would have scored higher just based on the idea and setup. This way I have to give it only a 7.
I like this idea a *lot*, but I think you could have improved the execution. the shadows are harsh and focus is soft. a more interesting background and lighting could have made this shot a real contender.
Good idea! The execution was not so impressive due to the light. In verry reflective subjects like this you may need to difuse a lot you light source. Try to use a thin white nylon or difusers made for photography. The key for good ligh is to think that a good light source is big. That stands that the source must be in some way large relative to the subject, this improve difusion.
Excellent idea! I like how you can see Nikon at the front of the glass as well as at the top! I think the lighting could have been improved just a bit, but I like the photo.
Nice idea but you got to work on your lighting, it is horrible! Since your subject isn“t moving, just use natural light from a window and a tripod, not a flash next time.
uhm... I hope that's your lens cap in there :) cool idea, must have been tough trying to blow out the background while minimizing glare on the glass but you did a pretty good job
