I was just playing around with an idea. Not technically perfect I know, but go easy on me, it's my first challenge entry! I used my Mum and Dad's wedding rings.
The lighting could have been better I know.

I really like this picture, but I wish that the lighting wasn't so harsh. Perhaps you should try using a softbox, or just diffusing the light somehow (by bouncing it off a piece of foamboard, or even using a piece of fabric over the light source). Good job though. Very nice! Good luck!
Nice job of handling the gold color. I know how hard it is to get true gold colors on digital images. Would have liked slightly better focus. Still I give it an 8
