Very nicely composed! I like that you captured him right in the action! Though I'm sure it would be difficult to do, a little bit of eye contact with the camera would really give this a strong portrait feel for me.

I love the composition, however I think a shallow DoF would do better for this one. Portraits in the background distract the eye from the foreground.
