I'm afraid I can't really tell what this is, let alone whether it's old or new, past or present. It just looks like metal, some fabric, maybe some plastic - hard to be sure. Very crisp focus.

nice pic...what is it? looks like a butterfly knife or something. i had to rate it a little lower just because i couldn't relate it to anything in the past and the title didn't help. still a very cool pic.
