I think this would work better with less objects. Also, the shadow of the cabinet at the top distracts. Perhaps you could have added another light?

This meets the challenge – it’s inanimate and arranged. I like the picture but not so much the still life. The composition is about the theme more than about the visual qualities of the elements and their juxtaposition. 6
