My favorite and only oregon float, i put it in a puddle on the side of the road, I wanted to capture the colors of the water, the reflections and the sunset, all mirrored by the float. I am fully expecting this to tank as i dont think its your classical still life pic, but as my camera fell in the water recently this is the only setup i captured. I love the picture, i saw this in my mind and had to capture it.
Rotated and croped, adjusted levels, hue and saturation and some sharpening and a run through neat image

Something really cool about this shot. Think it's the low angle and the gazing ball that sort of looks like planetary against the blue reflection of the sky in the water.
Love it. One of my favorite shots for this challenge. I could nitpick of course (the twigs are a bit distracting) but it's still a 10 for me. Love the colours and the reflection as well as the interesting subject of course.
Got to love it. It doesn't fit my conventional view of a still life because of being outdoors and a landscape - but I love it!
I try quite hard to find an angle in a shot that would make me understand how that photographer felt their image would fit the challenge, and here I do see that because of the subject of the photo being the glass ball.
Wonderfully creative, great comp and colours. I hope it does well.
