I think I put green on as a subliminal tribute to arnit. This portrait is more up his alley than any of the serious ones from the last challenge.
I promise I let the beetle out after I was done. I even found a ladybug, but they are all so small and young this time of the year, it was too small for the picture.
I don't really think self-portrait is a challenge we need to worry about anonymity and I'm sure the majority of voters have no idea of the minor hub-bub about my ladybug shot.

Hey Jason: you are indeed one in a million with talent that just wants to escape. Very good work and great sense of humor. Congratulations on your top 20 finish.
Hiya Doc! So glad you've kept your sense of humour through the whole insect escapade. I was hoping you'd reprise your shot of you eating your shorts, but this is very well done, and sweet. So, dish it out, is the bug alive? ;)
DO HARM! .. hehehe ... interesting shot ... I don't think that I want something like that on me ... how you managed that and to take the shot is beyond me.
Are you a doctor? This is interesting and not typical, which I like. the lime green shirt is kinda cool. Great detail on the eyes. Fun expression too. On second review, I'm bumping up. This is pretty much perfect. Great entry. Now if I could just remember who you are. ha ha ha
Man, that is a very, very funny and extremely classy response. If I'm ever struck down with some kind of mystery ailment, screw that House guy; YOU are my man! 8.
