This image comes together so well with all the different components ... flowers are beautiful, the tree branches make a natural frame, and of the course outstanding architecture - complete with sunburst. Nice placement in a crazy challenge.
Nice framing and color. I think it could use more contrast, though. Maybe try a lower sensitivity setting so you get deeper shadows without loosing the light in the upper left.
My rule of thumb for arcitectural shots like this, where perspective throws the lines out of parallel, is to make the leading edge vertical. This looks skew-wiff. Straightforward interpretation nicely composed together with the garden elements. Looks on the bright side of holiness :)
Beautiful picture! Love the colours and the... hmm.. actually I love everything about it.. i had already voted 9 on this but I'm changing it to 10. I think this photo belongs in the top 5.
Great DOF here. Detail really works the viewers attention throughout the shot. I like the sun burst through the trees as well. Great representation of one of the most beautiful buildings and places in Salt Lake City.
