It's a nice looking cottage and unfortunately doesnt protray desolation. Also, the trees overhanging the roof on either side is distracting.
However, well done. Good try =) |

Perhaps it's the soft focus, but this looks so, peaceful, it doesn't really say desolation to me. I do like the photo though. |
