 This is just my feeble attempt at catching something at least sort of desolate. I am a pretty happy guy, and my photos tend to reflect that, so this was out of my comfort zone. Also, I just took it this afternoon and didn't have enough time to really set something up or look for something. Hope you guys like it.

Very interesting shot but seems to be a reach to get to desolation from this.

the effect used really takes away from the image. it really loses its substance. can barely tell what is going on.

I thought a lot about what this might mean. I thought maybe the idea was a lone spaceman floating in space, either dead or alive. So I figured it probably fit the challenge OK. I just don't like this posterized treatment at all. It's not badly done but it's just not my taste at all.
