This is a single exposure of a small part of the Milkyway in the Sagittarius region. You can clearly see the Laggon (M8) and Trifid (M20) Nebulas in about the center of the photo.
The exposure was taken with a Canon 20Da and Sigma 105mm macro lens. Camera and lens were mounted piggybackk on a Meade GPS Telescope.
Only the permitted basic editing techniques were used via Photoshop CS2.
