This'll be a love or hate. Probably hate. It'll net me a 4.9 for sure. But I enjoyed creating it. Wish I had more time. Taken at 9:40 Tuesday night...

Well, pleasent surprise. This was taken in pitch black darkness - the only light was from the cars whizzing by 30 feet below. Think I did okay. I'm laying down on an arc'ed pedestrian bridge. Then I rotated it as many of you saw. If you think its too dark, you should probably recalibrate your monitors so you can see the full range of greys.
Anyway, thanks so much for the comments and the favorites - really apreciated!

Didn't vote (yet again) but I did sneak a peek and one of the things I saw was this. I thought it might be JPR! I'm so dumb; I did not initially make the rotate call and spent a moment wondering what kind of structure this could be, and why it had lights along one side. I even wondered about the woman standing on tippy-toes, flattened against the wall! The clever title held all the clues; I was just slow.
The effect is to suggest a sort of sideways vertigo. It's another cerebral Dahkota photograph that makes some demands of the viewer (nearly too many for me, evidently). And it's not too dark on my 20" i-Mac, although the histogram makes interesting viewing; if the white point is moved to the "correct" position, the images loses some of its enigma, and so some of its point. Better just where it is.
I really like this. The presence of the model really adds a lot. I feel a strong sense of foreboding. Whatever happens next is not likly to be pleasant. I might comment on some elements of the image but the total effect is so good I would hate to fool around with it. 7.
Cool shot. The rotation really works great on this. At first I wanted to say that it may be a bit too dark, but upon looking at it this second time I dont think so. Great shot. Bumping up.
