I like this idea, the angle seems a bit too low, I'd like to get a better view of what your subject it, I think its a boat, but I'd like to know for sure. I'd also bump the saturation and contrast just a touch to give it some pop. Meets the challenge well.
I don't know what that structure is but it sure looks like a boat. The long grass really looks like water being pushed aside too. Nice job. There are some unfortunate background elements. A little more color saturation may have aded too. Nice image though.
I like the subject and angle of this shot, but I think the time of day that you chose to shoot this pic made it a bit dull. I love the way the grass curls in front of the boat, it truly makes it look like water so perhaps a greater emphasis on that particular part may have helped. It also seems a tad misty in the background, which can also greatly influence the richness of colours. Overall good effort and good luck with the next challenge!
