There are so many highlights blown out in this image that it is distracting.

That's funny I saw a mouth opening.

Nice! Great shutter speed to catch the water like this. Looks like you need a sturdier tripod though as the whole picture is a bit soft which looks like motion blur.

YES! I 'see' it! Really cool and intriguing. Excellent shot. Natural and abstract at the same time - GREAT work. Ruthann

I would have darkened the black levels more to make the eye area contrast even more. It is a very cool picure! 9 -Tim J

What an incredible sight! Is this a known attraction that people visit or do you just have one f-ing amazing eye?

I think I'd have let the image convey the shape and titled it "Nature's Weeping" -- but a great setting anyway!

whoa!! this is certainly one of the better ones for this week's contest!

Seem blurry, but I like the subject and it is neat the way the grass is growing inside the cave. 6

Great shot. The 2 flower heads in the cave look like animal eyes. "8" Dogman ;-)

Cool...I can see an eye but I can also see it as a mouth...with shark-like teeth. Even looks like an eye on the upper left. It's nice.

This must be a tourist spot or something, because that really is awesome looking. Nice capture.

Great name! I look at the pictures before I check the name and had to check to see if you included it in your title. Good eye yourself! :) 10

I like the composition of your entry very much, but it seems a bit out of focus, and the blown our area at the upper left doesn't help.

Great shot and "eye" for interesting point of view. I like how the water kinda makes eyelashes, increases/tracks to the title concept. third 10 Swash

the unusualness of this makes it a great picture

I like this. It could be the eye of a monster too. Good job.
07/15/2002 02:03:00 PMPost actions
WOW ! That DOES look like a eye. The setting has the water in a perfect flow. The water on the left side has caused a white hotspot. The bottom right should be more in focus like the far left. I think it was a setting you had. Nice find !

nice... i would like to see a closer one!

Are those eyes glowing in the cave? Dont know if it would have looked better but I would have tried a shot that put the cave a bit off to the side (rule of thirds)... looks like a pretty neat location.
