great shot. the first thing that struck me on seeing the thumb was "too centered". the first thing after opening it up was "too small". if you had entered this full-size and composed with your subject a bit more to the left, you would have easily picked up a half point or more, and found yourself in the top 20. keep on plugging--you're getting there!
Good silhouette. This would have looked much better in the full 640px. You should always use the 640px size. A great picture but people will probably rate it lower because of the size. Just remember it next time ;) Good luck.
Nice shot and great lighting. The cloud is in the perfect place. I wonder if cropping would add impact and make him look even higher on top. Downside may be losing the graduated color of the sky which helps make the image.
next time i would make the photo the largest possible size because voters will vote you down for it even though it is a good photo and fits the challenge well
WOnderfully colored and set up photo. I like the saturation and the backlighting effect. However I would make it fit the challenge maximum size of 640 pixels. Nicely done.
If the camera you use has the quality then you should consider submitting images closer to the 640 pxl maximum. This is a great capture that would have more impact if it was bigger.
nice. Great silhouette. Very nice background colours and gradient. My only suggestions is that its a bit centered (left to right I mean, top to bottom is fine). Perhaps cropping sightly one way or the other (following the rule of thirds) would add impact. Good shot. A 7 from me.
I love this shot, but the only thing bothering me is that its a little small? (Still wont affect my score though) Awesome effort and result, well done.
