IMHO, the rocks dominate the castle; it should be vice versa
The rocks were placed in the foreground quite deliberately to try to show how the ruin is isolated on a rugged coatline and to give a contrast to the hazy mist that the castle lay in
I really love this photo, probably because of how much I like castles. But that is not really the only reason I like it. It is cool how the ruins sort of are in a haze in the background it really adds to desolate feel. Thanks for giving it a nice straightforward name.
The castle which is the subject of the photo is bleached out, comparing to the rocks in the forground. I would move the camera up to cut it out. And maybe try to craete foggy effect from it. That's my suggestion.
pretty good, too bad there was so much haze on the day the picture was taken. Less haze would give a clearer picutre of the castle. If it was clearer you might have needed to desaturate depending on how 'green' the landscape was.
