This really looks too beautiful to be desolation. A great shot though, well composed. [5]

One of the best photos in the challenge, exposure is dead on, and the image has just the righ amount of sharpness-- its a 10 Good Luck

This is a really great shot, but I'm not sure that this says desolation. I really like the colors and it's very crisp and clear.

There is nothing I can say to better this shot. Composition, color and DOF is perfect. Meets the challenge. Good luck.

One of my top picks! Quite a beautiful scene. Seems like there's a teensy bit too much sky -- that's the only thing keeping this at a 9 instead of 10 for me.

Sorry, but this is a happy photo and wihile I think it is quite good, I do not believe that it meets the challenge.

Beautiful picture. Nice composition and depth of field. I'm not sure it fits the theme for the challenge though, but I enjoyed it.

Excellent shot, doesn't convey the theme for me though.

desolation is so personal isn't it...but this is rich and the couple so clearly is sharing the moment

Nice view but it looks more "serene" than "desolate" to me.
