That looks kind of like a rooster crowing.

Interesting plant. Good depth and detail. Lighting is generally good, but ever so slightly hot. Nice background blur.

All but center of plant lack focus, needs more definition of field for macro shots. 6 Swash

nice except that one portion that is sticking up in the center is out of focus

nice but lacking originality

A macro really lacking in any strong impact. Nice DOF.

It needs more sharpnes and less reflection.

the images in the background are a little distracting, and maybe a little darkening would make this stand out more. 7

I know it's out of focus, but it still looks like a road?

A bit too tightly cropped - needs some space on the upper right

Not sure why you cropped the tip, it seems to take away from the impact.

I believe that a few inches back on this one so the plant didnt' get clipped would have been a nice improvement :) = 5 - jmsetzler

I imagine this shot would have been beautifull when the flowers were blooming.

Nice shot... the reddish background contrasts nicely with the plant I think.

This plant epitomizes the word "succulent." I love it!

reflections on the leaves well expoed-good contrast and clarity

Background is annoying, try moving the viewpoint slightly to eliminate the veticle brown thing.

I like the cactus, but this picture has too much going on to let my eye rest on it. The trunk to the left of the subject is disconcerting, and the cactus leaves at bottom left unbalance it. Also, you could have made it a half stop darker and avoided the burned out areas on the main subject.
