Great concept with the magazines. One thing I recommend in these typa crazy screams is to burn the mouth blur, so it appears as one large clean blur-of-a-mouth.
I think the final version is excellent - love her scream, and the blacked-out feel of her lower half is basically what I was looking for in the original I commented on (before reading the whole thread hehehe).
