 Taken in my garden - cropped out of the full frame. I stuck to yellow and purple as these colours were mentioned in the challenge. Not sure they're truely 'complementary' as the complement of yellow is blue, not purple.

Beautiful close up. I like the small touch of yellow in the center, a good example of less is more.

Nicely composed. Possibly a bit too much sun/washout? Maybe a little bounce light and shade would have been helpful to improve color saturation.

More DOF would have helped. Even thought the center is in focus, my eye is still drawn to the out of focus petals in the center of your image.

4 - Nice colors. Difficult, but perhaps a more refined crop, quality dependent (especially to 'eliminate' the green) and the focal point better placed within the composition 'somehow', may have made this better in my opinion.
