I really like the darkness in the bottom half of the picture. I kept thinking everyone would take grayscale pics, but yours and many others I have come across have shown me how great desolation can be portrayed in color.

It's a bit dark, I think.

Destruction maybe but not desolation for me. Shot is a bit gloomy and could have been better lit with a little fill-flash, or adjusting the exposure settings.
