Looks like a handsome horse. The halter detracts a little from the shape of his head and the shine of the brass draws you eye away from him. I think this is a nice portrait, however it seems a little soft on the focus.

I live in Wyoming where horses are a huge part of our culture. You have captured a beatiful photo of a beautiful horse! I like the backlighting, well the lighting period. Great job!
