My grandfather. Old, yes, but a fire still burns down deep as he gazes intently at you.
Probably won't do extremely well, but I'm hoping for a good 5.8 showing.

Dang.. I under-predicted this one.. 6.182.. nice.. I was only 6.11 at turn-over, and it's always great to get another Top 20 under my belt.

Thanks for all the comments everyone.. and yah, I did go a little hard on the eyes.. but hey, whatever.

Just nice to know I can still get above 6 now and again.

A very nice capture. A little less on the eyes would have been even better. 7

Really really good portrait. Minor criticisms with the background that I'm sure many have mentioned before me, but a great shot anyway.

This is one of the most wonderful portraits I've seen. What a face on that guy. Great job processing, too. Wow! Also, I know that titles don't mean everything, but this is such a moving title, I can't not mention it. Congratulations on the whole package!

Good processing, but the skintone bothers me. Seems unnatural. Good portrait, though. 7

I like the contrast, coloring of the skin and eyes, and the tight crop. Great picture. Top 40.

It is oversharpened, IMHO. The wrinkles would probably look more natural if a bit harder side lighting had been used.

Nice portrait. Almost has that Dragan sense to it. Nice detailing. Tack sharp focus. Love the eyes.
