Thank you for all you had added a comment for my photo. I see some areas where I can work on my skills of taking better photos and what to look for more in a photo.
I think the thing that hurts this shot is the lighting. I like the DOF and I like the idea, but the colors and lighting are dull and the image in the foreground isn't sharp enough. Meets challenge superbly though.
i love stuff like this. nice feel to it. I might have cropped out a bit of the dead space on the right, but that's just me - nothing wrong with your crop as is.
Wished there was a little more focus on the metal piece. Lower f stop in the manual setting would help bring out the right angle. Very interesting composition, I like it a lot.
