Sorry, I don't get it. If there's a purpose to your hand and whatever your holding, besides making a right angle, I don't understand. The lighting's a bit dull and the focus is so-so. Composition might be OK, if I understood the concept.

Colors need to be balanced, too much reds. Was color balance set to auto? If it was try playing around with the manual. My camera will do the same in certain lighting conditions. Compositions is nice. Try playing with photo in b&w.
