Very cute. Like the how you captured the eyes and the facial expression. On the negative, I'm not liking the choice in background. There is just too much contrast going on back there which is distracting for me.
I'm not getting the feeling of "studio portrait" - looks more like a snapshot to me. As such, however, it is a cute shot that will look nice in the family album.
Looks a bit too much like a snapshot. The lighting is harsh, like a generic camera flash, the background and expression just don't suggest a deliberate portrait to me.
