 Shot RAW, adjusted in RSE and saved as TIFF.

Opened in PSP.
Worked in layers to adjust colours, contrast, lightness.
Flattened.
Dodged and burned.
Created copy layer and blurred, merged in soft light (medium percentage).
Increased saturation on yellow parts of bud.
Resized, sharpened, ran through noise remover, saved.

Just being honest.... I like it, but that pink blob in the background seems to be what catches my eye. I like the flower, and the drop of water on it.

I've seen a lot of plants and trees... Yes, they meet the challenge, but where is the creativity... It's the image that stands out from the rest that wins me over.
