Your perspective is very good as well as your subject. There is a lack of detail, I think, by not having it in color. It also looks like the center of the photo is in focus, but near and far are slightly out of focus. Best of scores.

I'm a sucker for roads, trails, train tracks, etc. This photo draws me right in. Love the detail in the leaves, too.

I'm not sure if you intended the soft focus, but personally I'd have preferred to have found some part of the image nice and sharp.
