The slightly ironic cleanliness of the 'start' button is intriguing, and the tonality is likeable; There's a feeling of lens distortion to the image which comes across to my eye as a stand-ion for any real interest: it's not a wholly un-photographic thing, actually, but its more about the camera than about the subject, and in that sense represents a modernism in photography that seems rather desperate to me - as though the world seen through the lens were no longer interesting enough in its own right. A technically assured submission, and it prompts thoughts more to the point than most, so I can certainly not score you down for that. |
